Booking a fishing trip ahead of time is essential during the season in Key West. Our busiest season is from February until June, there are other months in between where holidays and festivals bring larger than normal crowds to Key West.
If you are planning your trip to fish for a particular species of fish, please check the Key West fishing calendar or email to ask about the availability of the species.
Backcountry/Flats charters include use of all tackle, license, bait, flies and a cooler with ice for your drinks and lunch. Anglers must provide their own drinks and lunch.
The Maverick HPX skiff can hold up to two anglers comfortably.
Equipment provided is Shimano Spheros reels, Redington Rods. Fly tackle includes Sage Fly Rods, Galvan and Tibor Flyfishing Reels. You are welcome to bring your own equipment. Please feel free to email with any questions on leaders, tippet or flies you may want to bring with you.
